DEWALT.co.uk wins a 2008 WebAward

DEWALT is very pleased to announce that it has been awarded a Web Design Standard of Excellence award by the Web Marketing Association for its website DEWALT.eu (including DEWALT.co.uk).

In the 2008 WebAwards More than 2,400 websites from 40 countries participated in the competition across 96 industry categories. DEWALT.eu competed in the Construction Website category. The websites were evaluated according to seven key criteria: content, copywriting, interactivity, technology, innovation, ease of use and design.

DEWALT.eu was recognized in particular for its excellence in content, with judges emphasizing the site’s content depth and freshness. DEWALT.eu also received high marks for the design and ease of use of the site, including the Battery Microsite which was highly commended by the judges, www.dewalt.eu/battery
